The daunting proof of concept and the Central Bank challenge.
A highly challenging mission: using design to pave the way for a new standard envisioned by the Central Bank, serving as an alternative to current financial market practices. A project as specific and complex as this would not fit into any pre-existing framework. For this reason, to achieve this goal, we chose to blend techniques from value proposition, sketching, storytelling, UX, and prototyping to reach the desired result.

Uniting ideas, taking them out of our heads and putting them on paper.
A key point in this process was aligning expectations and visions among the participants. Since it was a short-term project (2 weeks) with many stakeholders, the first few days were dedicated to interviews and value proposition workshops.
Aligning visions is a fundamental step to avoid inconsistencies and rework. In other words, we are talking about quality and speed of delivery. Therefore, the value proposition workshop served to refine the desired solution while ensuring the Stone team was on the same page.

Storytelling + prototype, a powerful combination.
With the same product vision in mind, it was time to tell the same story. This was a key point for developing a prototype that met the requirements.
We set up a mixed dynamic specifically for this project, combining screen generation with storytelling construction. Only in this way was it possible to reconcile schedules and leverage the team to its full multidisciplinary potential.
Simultaneously, supported by versatile templates, the Stone team designed the screens and the complete flow of a new product in just 1 day.
With the narrative and sketches ready, we used our UX expertise to refine the results and develop a navigable, visual system prototype. Data from real-world scenarios was used in the final model, allowing the Central Bank to understand it from end to end.

Is it ready yet? The question worth more than a thousand words.
If anything can prove the effectiveness of a prototype, it is the user asking: is it ready yet? And that was the question from the Central Bank when presented with the prototype. It doesn't get better than that.
Even today, the development of this tool uses the generated prototype as a reference for its features and ideal usage model. That is the power of a delivery that truly hits the brief.
